What the service is
Terminalive runs MetaTrader terminals on its own servers and gives you a browser window onto one. It is hosting and nothing else. It does not give trading advice, does not produce or supply signals, does not manage money, and takes no view on any position your terminal opens.
Your broker account is yours, held with your broker under your agreement with them. We are not a broker, not an introducing broker, and not a party to that relationship.
Your account
- You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you must give a real email address that reaches you.
- One person or one organisation per account. Sharing your sign-in with other people is not permitted, because a session gives full keyboard and mouse control of a terminal holding a live broker connection.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what any person you give access to does with it.
- Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has your password. We will end every session and every open terminal connection on request.
What you may not run on it
A terminal is a computer we operate, reachable from the internet, with your code inside it. The limits below exist because abuse from our address space lands on every other customer.
- Nothing unlawful where you are or where the servers are, and nothing that breaks your broker's own terms.
- No attacks on anyone, ours or otherwise: scanning, denial of service, credential stuffing, spam, or any attempt to reach another customer's terminal or the systems that run them.
- No mining, no traffic proxying for third parties, and no use of a terminal as general purpose compute. You are paying for a terminal, and the capacity model assumes one.
- No attempt to escape the container your terminal runs in, or to reach the host, the network, or another tenant from inside it.
Trading risk is yours
Trading leveraged instruments can lose you more than you put in. Every order your terminal sends is yours, whether you clicked it or an expert advisor you installed did. We do not review, approve, endorse or test the code you run, and running it is your decision.
A hosted terminal is not a guarantee of execution. Networks fail, brokers disconnect, platforms are updated by their vendor, and a machine can stop. You should not run a strategy that would be harmed badly by an unattended outage without your own protection against one, at the broker or in your own code.
The shared outbound address
On the standard plans, terminals on the same server reach your broker from the same outbound address. Some brokers and most funded-account programmes treat several accounts from one address as evidence of coordinated trading, and the consequences of that land on you, not on us.
This is a property of the service and not a fault. We disclose it during signup, before payment, as its own step, and this clause does not replace that step. If you are trading a funded-account challenge, check that programme's rules before you continue. A dedicated outbound address is a separate paid capability.
Payment, renewal and cancellation
- Subscriptions are charged in advance for the period you choose, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically at the end of it until you cancel.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number.
- Charges appear on your card statement as TERMINALIVE.
- You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the terminal keeps running until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- A free trial, where one is offered, ends by itself. If you do not subscribe, the terminal stops and its data is removed on the schedule in the privacy notice.
- If the service is materially unavailable for a sustained period through our fault, write to us and we will credit the affected time. We do not refund losses on trades, which are not ours to compensate.
Refunds
Full refund within 14 days of your first subscription. After that, cancelling stops the renewal, with no refund for the current period.
Your code and your data stay yours
Expert advisors, indicators, presets and any files you upload remain your property. We store them to run them for you and for no other purpose: we do not read them for our own benefit, do not copy them into anything else, and do not share them.
You keep enough of a licence for us to operate the service: to store your files, place them in your terminal, and back them up. Nothing wider than that.
Suspension and ending the agreement
- We may suspend a terminal immediately if it is attacking something, if it threatens other customers' service, or if we are required to by law or by our own suppliers. We will tell you what happened.
- For anything less urgent, we will contact you first and give you a chance to fix it.
- You may close your account at any time. We may end the service with 30 days' notice, and if we do, we refund the unused part of what you paid.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, missed opportunities, or anything a broker or a funded-account programme decides about your account. Where we are liable, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.
Nothing here removes a liability that the law does not allow us to remove, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Changes to these terms
We will email you at least 30 days before a change that matters to you takes effect, and the date at the top of this page always says when it was last changed. If you do not accept a change, cancel before it takes effect and we will refund the unused part of the period.
Who we are and how to reach us
